for the outcasts

I have been reading Bishop Robinson's blog during the beginning of the current Lambeth Conference. This morning my heart broke for a second day in a row as I experienced the feeling of isolation he is experiencing. And as generous a Christian he is, I know he would ask us to know our broken hearts for all those who are cast out.

Since returning from my recent trip to Yosemite, I have been ruminating about how the landscape itself informs me about God. So I came home from church and tried to express my broken heart. I will pray for him, and for all outcasts, in a new way.
